Innovation driver en technical go-to expert for Donuts
- You are the donut innovation expert, leading mid-complexity innovation projects. You connect marketing, procurement, quality and production with your bakery know-how.
- You spot market shifts and tech innovations — translating insights into proactive innovations that feed the strategic pipeline.
- You balance between long-term R&D and fast-paced New Product Development - aiming to launch new donuts in collaboration with marketing.
- You understand the production plant’s full potential, drive process improvements, and play a key role in implementing new technologies.
- You build expertise through research and events — and multiply its impact by sharing insights and giving training across Vandemoortele.
- You stay closely connected to ingredients and equipment suppliers.
- You report to the R&D Director Bakery Products.

A food technologist with a strong appetite for cross-functional collaboration
Job requirements
- Master's degree in food chemistry, food technology or bio-engineering or other related fields.
- Some years of experience in the food industry and strong interest in (bakery) ingredients and processing.
- Experience in projectmanagement.
- Fluent in English; a working knowledge of French is required due to frequent interactions with the Reims and Séneffe site.
